We're Finished!!

Here is the kitchen after Sarah painted it. All I painted in this room was the cupboard frames and knobs and hinges. She did all the taping, she took all the cupboards apart, painted the cupboard doors, and yesterday, she painted all the walls pink. It looks really pretty, and she's thrilled with all her pinkiness in her kitchen. She had been accumulating a lot of pink accessories, so she's all set. Tomorrow her new appliances arrive, and that will make a huge difference too.

I also removed her old intercom, and patched the hole, and repaired the huge chunk of plaster that was missing from the corner, and then painted the foyer. After the painting was all finished and we had cleaned up our mess, we reupholstered her 4 dining room chairs, and a bench in the pink snakeskin pleather. They turned out really well. I left all the paint there, and told her when she gets and "urge" she could continue painting, and do the window trim, and doors in the white. That was in the plans, but enough is enough for now.

I have 3 more days of vacation left, and I'm going to be pretty lazy in order to be ready to go back to work. Fortunately hubby stayed home 2 days ago, and he got our house somewhat back in order, or I'd be busting my ass doing that over the next couple of days.
