1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate. I'm not a lover of the nog.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? They were usually wrapped.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Colored lights always.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Usually any time after December 1. I seem to get a little later every year. This year I just did it today, and am still not finished.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? lobster! yummm we have a steak and lobster feast on Christmas eve. I also love Mom's lemon butter tarts. *drool*
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Watching "White Christmas" every year. It didn't feel like Christmas time until I'd watched it.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I don't remember at all when that happened.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We open all our presents Christmas Eve. All that is left for Christmas day, "was" the Santa gifts and stockings.
10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? Whatever is handy.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? I like looking at it, but I hate driving in it or shovelling it.
12. Can you ice skate? I practically grew up on ice skates. I started skating at the age of 2. Dad made us a rink every year. We lived on skates in the winter. I don't go often now, but in my previous assignment at work, I had to go a couple of times every year.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?My Barbie house. In those "old days", it was all made of cardboard. Furniture and all. My but things have improved! LOL
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Trying to get through it without a "fight".
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? My Mom's apple pie.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? When the kids were little we always used to go out for a drive after Christmas Eve dinner, and look at all the Christmas lights. I remember how excited they would be.
17. What tops your tree? A white angel. She's kind of ugly.
18. Which do you prefer Giving or Receiving? Giving! I love giving gifts, although receiving them is rather nice too.... *s*
19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol? "White Christmas"
20. Candy Canes! They look a lot better than they taste!
