Nick - Chilling
This is Nick relaxing in the shade towards the end of our trip. He was very reasonably well behaved today. THANK GAWD! I had enough to contend with the heat! This was the last field trip Nick and I will go on together, so I'm glad he wasn't a "boob"!
When I got back to the school, and delivered him to his mother, Mrs. C, told me to come and look at our future "room". It looked like Beirut! How the hell am I going to paint that!??!! They removed all the white boards and bulletin boards, and all that remains where they were, is a THIRD nasty old paint color to cover up, and big BLOBS of glue, which is just like concrete. Unreal! What a mess! I'm hoping they realize that painting the walls, is tooooo big a job. I'll do the mural and the cupboards and things, but those walls are beyond me at this stage!!
