I'm feeling a tad rough this morning, as hubby and I had a few celebratory drinks last night upon finding out that I will be working in the pre-school special needs program next year! There will be a morning program and an afternoon one. There will be a different teacher for each program. Both are awesome! There will also be a different assistant in each program and both of them are great too. I will be the only one in there full time as far as I know. So I'm looking forward to that. Hubby was considering an out of town transfer, but since finding out this, we've changed our minds on that.
Also, yesterday, little Samson came to spend the afternoon with us. He is a little Down Syndrome boy who will be in the program I'm currently in. He's such a sweetie. This was his second visit. He totally took to me the first time, and he remembered me right away yesterday, and stuck to me like glue. Poor little guy is going to be very disappointed when he finds out he has to work with Mrs. Crabby pants!
I'd also like to point out that it has rained on my freshly stained table EVERY day since I finished it! Grrrr
