Yesterday was a CRAZY day! We did the walk-through for the Christmas concert. Uck! Rates right up there as one of the worst days of the school year. That and taking our special needs kids ice skating! *shudders* For 2 hours we're cooped up in the gym "waiting our turn". It was hot, it was NOISEY, and it was annoying! I think one thing that annoyed me more than the annoying rehearsal, was how annoyed my co-worker gets! OMG! She hates everyone and everything I swear to God! Miss Negative, I have a chip on my shoulder, blah blah blah!
Anyways, we did survive it, with only a headache in terms of battle wounds! Nick did pretty well. He definitely did some shouting, but if I could have gotten away with it, I would have screamed too!
Today should be much calmer. We do caroling in the library first thing, and Nick is getting a "student of the month" award for Art! He's a great little artist. He rewinds scenes of movies over and over until he can draw every little detail.
After work, we're having a little happy hour gathering for staff at the school, so I've packed up my snacks for that, and I made our supper this morning, cause I just know how enthused I'll be about starting to cook by the time I get home.
I can't believe we have 4 more days with the kids before Christmas! Wow! We've never had school this close to Christmas. As much as the kids will be bouncing off the walls with Christmas excitement, for which the parents should be ever so glad not to have to deal with at home, we will be THRILLED to be off until January 10 if we survive it all!!!

Yay to Nick for receiving the art award!
I hope today is less noisey than yesterday! The caroling should be fun - and at least this time you won't be kept in the gym!
