Well the hardwood is complete. Grandpa still has to do the finishing trim work and the steps. Hubby is going to install the sub floor in the bathroom, buy some baseboards for the rooms that didn't have any, and put the existing baseboards back on. While he's doing that, I'm going to work on tiling the bathroom floor. I got the kitchen put all back together tonight. Ican't do the dining room yet, as it's all full of tools, and the little bit of remaining wood. We're hoping to knock off all these projects tomorrow, so that we can vegetate all day Sunday, but that is likely fairly lofty planning!
Work was pretty good, the weather was wonderful and I'm very glad the week is over! I stopped at the car wash on the way home today, and filled up hubby's Jeep, cleaned out the interior really well, vacuumed it, and spiffed it all up for winter. It looks great!
A good friend of ours, Doug, stopped in for a beer tonight. It was fun to catch up with him. Our sons played hockey together for years, until Ben quit, so our families used to spend a lot of time together. We made plans to attempt to get together one day soon when his wife, Susan is home!
