Yesterday we worked fast and furious to get our house back to a liveable condition, as hubby goes back to work tomorrow, as do I. I got busy in the dining room putting baseboards back on, and filling nail holes. Hubby put a few more pieces of hardwood into the bathroom doorways, and then it was back to Home dePot to return the rental tools, pick up plywood for a subfloor, and to choose some tiles for the bathroom and closet/pantry floors. While he was installing sub floors, Ben took over the base board detail, and I put the dining room all back together. Once the subfloor was finished, I primed it, and continued with reassembling the rooms, as Ben finished the baseboards. He's already learned a lot at school, as he was using the stud finder, pre-drilling holes, and then nailing the baseboards back in, and then using the punch to hide the nails. I tiled the closet and pantry floors next, and then did the bathroom. They look pretty nice! (as long as the tiles stay put!) Hubby and I got the toilet re-installed, and he hung the doors back up, and then we called it a day. We were toast! I LOVE the floor though! Grandpa is going to come out this week to do the stairs and a bunch of other fancy finishing trim, that only he can do.

Today we did a few more little things. Hubby repaired the fireplace, I caught up on laundry, and went for groceries, came home and vacuumed, and then Sarah and I sat down and watched "Mean Girls." It really wasn't as good as I thought it would be! There are lots of good shows on TV tonight, so I plan to be a vegetable!
