Today I got all my kitchen chairs recovered. They look pretty good if I do say so myself! I ordered 2 sets of curtains for the kitchen, and one set came today. I think they'll work, but I want to see the other pair first to see which ones I like. I have a lot of fabric leftover from the chairs. If I could get my crummy old sewing machine to work enough to sew a few seams, I'd make drapes out of the leftover, and send the curtains back.
It's still really hot here. Thunder storm and severe weather warnings every night. Not great! I've retired my paint cans until the weather cools down. I have all summer, and I'm not doing any more painting while it's this damn hot! Whew! (as much as I'd like to go like a demon and finish it all!)
