The kitchen is ALMOST back together! I did a marathon shopping trip for accessories today. STILL no curtains, but I'm working on it! I need curtains, fabric for the chairs, and that should pretty much be a wrap! I also need to do the touchups now that everything is installed.
All the hardware is on the cupboards/drawers, and all the light fixtures are installed, blinds are back up, and everything is cleaned up. The whole project took 10 days. Not bad really considering I did everything myself, except the light fixtures, and cupboard hardware.
Fortunately hubby got the lawn mowed between rain storms, as another monsoon washed over us yet again! I'm going to soon trade in my car for an ark! Apparently the City of Edmonton is just under water! Sarah called on her way home from work to say you could hardly even see! I sure hope it doesn't rain down at Stage 13 so that Ben gets stuck in the mud down there with the Shaggin Wagon!

I can't wait to see pictures Bev :) Curtains are always the hardest to find, I think. Enjoy walking in there over and over to admire your hard work. That's the fun part!!

Hey Bev, wanted to drop in to see how you are holding up with that weather you've been having! I almost gave you a call a couple of weeks ago, because we were in the Edmonton area for 2 days; but time ran out with so much to see. maybe next time! Stay dry

I think you really got that all done fast!! Sounds great, too. Our bedroom is in a very pale green (called Touch of Green) and we love it. Very soothing. Good luck on the family room. You're amazing, woman!
