I'm finally starting to see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel with these damn cupboards! All I have left to paint now are the fronts of the cupboard doors. All 22 of them. 2 coats of "sugar cane" on the center panels, and then 2 coats of "pastel sage" on the outside trim. Could be a nightmare to accomplish without making a major MESS! The drawers are back in place, the tape is removed, the walls are all washed down and ready for the patching to be sanded down, and the taping to be done. One of these days, likely between coats on the door fronts, I need to go shopping. The priority is for new handles so the doors can be hung again. At some point I need new light fixtures and curtains too, as well as a new blind or shade for the window over the sink.
Then it's on to the family room!

Oh I can relate we redid our kitchen last summer, hubby complained the whole time...lol. We are still waiting to get new tile, money is tight, but eventually we will get it all done.
About the cat and the robin, too funny, same thing happened last week to me, tried to get the darn robin to fly away but Kitsy was faster, I got him away from her, I don't know if he lived or not I couldn't find him again after I let him go. I always get so ticked when they bring birds in the house.
