Busy Day

I worked my ass off, but it doesn't look like I got a whole lot accomplished! That's all right though. I'm not going to do this project at my usual break-neck speed! My arm and back won't put up with it for one thing! I finally cleaned up everything, vacuumed, etc (no sense tracking up the whole house) and had lunch around 2:30, and laid on the couch to watch "In A Fix" . I woke up over an hour later!!! Sarah was home from work, and I hadn't even heard her come in! Sheesh! (rob me blind!)

I dragged my groggy ass up and sanded the hardware holes I'd filled, cleaned up and VACUUMED yet again, and now my shoulders are bitching big time! Hubby is bringing home burgers and corn fritters, and I'm going to watch a movie with Sarah and me Lazy Dazey!

Still RAINING!

• move out the fridge (yeah right!....it's jammed in there man!)
• remove all the hardware from cupboards
• take down all the curtains, blinds and hardware
• strip the wallpaper and border (still have to scrape some of the backing off, but 80% of it is down)
• fill all the holes, and sand
• wash down all the cupboards with TSP walls as well
• cover and tape everything
• paint a coat of primer on the cupboards
• first coat of paint on walls
• first coat of paint on cupboards
• second coats on everything
• first coat of "trim" paint on the cupboards
• second coat of "trim" paint
• buy new hardware for cupboards and install
• reassemble everything
• new light fixtures
• new curtains
• reupholster kitchen chairs
